Haul: Superdrug and The Body Shop

Hello! Sorry that I've been neglecting this blog (again!) so I thought I'd bring you my first beauty haul post to make up for it! I received some money for Christmas early so I couldn't resist popping into town this afternoon to do a bit of shopping in The Body Shop and Superdrug.

Coconut Lip Butter - The Body Shop £4

I first headed to The Body Shop to use the Christmas 'Joy Card' that I got free in the Janurary issue of Cosmopolitan. The cards are worth either £3, £5 or £100, making them perfect for buying yourself a treat or getting some money off your Christmas shopping. I found out that mine was worth £3 so I used it to buy one of their £4 pots of coconut lip butter, meaning it only cost me £1. Bargain! I love anything coconut-scented and I needed a lip balm to keep at my boyfriend's house so I thought it would be perfect.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey - Superdrug £7.99

I then headed to Superdrug. They've still got their 3 for 2 on cosmetics offer running so I had a bit of a splurge! The first thing I picked up was Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey which I have been dying to try for ages. I've seen some swatches online and it looks like such a pretty, nude pink so I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

Rimmel Stronger Double duty base coat - Superdrug £4.59

I also had a nail base coat on my beauty wish list so I picked up Rimmel's Stronger Double duty base coat. I was a bit put-off by the colour of it but as I've been using Rimmel's Super Wear Topcoat and and Matte Finish Top Coat with no problems, I decided to go with it anyway.

Free Christmas Barry M glitter polish - available instore at Superdrug

I then went to the Barry M stand to pick up some other nail polishes. They have an offer on in Superdrug at the moment where you can get a special Christmas glitter polish for free! I think the offer was either if you spend £6 or more on Barry M products or if you buy three products you get it free but I can't remember which! If anybody knows what it is please let me know in the comments below.

L - R Barry M Nail Paint Raspberry - Superdrug £2.99
Barry M Nail Paint Blue Moon - Superdrug £2.99 (not available online)
Barry M Nail Paint Peach Melba - Superdrug £2.99 (not available online)

I bought three nail paints from their basic collection; Raspberry, Blue Moon and Peach Melba. I'm going to use Blue Moon with the free Christmas glitter polish as I'm hoping they should compliment each other quite nicely.

Barry M Magnetic Nail Paint Burgandy - Superdrug £4.99

I also picked up my first 'effects' nail paint which was from their Magnetic range. Its called Burgandy and I'm really looking forward to trying this one out to see how well it works.

The whole lot came to less than £25 so I was a very happy bunny! I've not had the chance to try any of these products yet so I should have some reviews of these up soon.

Let me know in the comments below if you own any of these and what you think of them. Hope you're all having a great lead-up to Christmas!
